As a community interest company our vision is to make our services fair and equitable. We are always looking for ways to give back, where there is a need or opportunity to support others in their own journey within the outdoor industry.
Our FREE place scheme is available every year. These free places are referenced within any invoice you received from us and are clearly marked within quotes.
Although we use the term "Pupil Premium" as a catch all, there is no set of defined criteria for who and how the free places are distributed, this is down to the school's discretion. Our only request is that the places are not used as an overall discount, but rather used to benefit young people who would find cost a barrier to taking part.

How do you work out the free places?
Its an easy calculation, for every 12 students you sign up to take part we provide 1 free place. Our minimum sign up is 12 for Bronze & Silver. Our free place scheme is not provided for Gold Expeditions.
Do I need to complete any paperwork?
There is no "formal" paperwork to complete, we trust that you will provide the place to those most in need or deserving.
Will our invoice reflect the free places?
Yes - once you have confirmed your final number and signed a customer agreement, we will raised a deposit invoice. The free place(s) will be identified in the billing process.
What happens if our overall numbers change?
Numbers change all the time, some times right up to the last minute. We use numbers within our customer agreements as a guide. We wont remove a free place that has been included in an invoice.
Do I need to complete any paperwork after the expedition(s) have completed?
No - no-one needs more paperwork. We love a bit of feedback, let us know how these young people got on and if the experience was valuable.
