Our business is our passion and the staff who represent us are key to it's success. 

New freelance staff will be required to:-

• complete a quick and simple application form,
• wait for contact from our Operations Director, 
• provide a current DBS certificate* (if your on the update service that's great), 
• provide evidence of a walking qualification,
• undertake an online safeguarding course*, and
• provide details of your current first aid course (16 hours outdoor first aid is preferable). 
• Provide evidence of your eligibility to work in the UK.

• As a qualified and experienced staff member, we expect you to be comfortable with between 10 - 12 participants across 2 walking groups.

*this will be paid for on your behalf if you do not have a current certificate. 

From 2025 you will need to be signed up to at least 2 delivery dates before we fully induct you onto our freelance pool. Please use the booking form to see and book all available work for 2025.

What you can expect from us:-

• Experienced leadership,
• Clear instructions and briefings on the ground,
• An understanding of the young people you will be working with,
• No over-night care, 
• Campsite cake, breakfast bap & hot drinks,  
• 7 - day turn around on invoices, and 
• the chance to meet a lot of friendly staff from across the UK. 
• Our pay rates are reviewed yearly and we cover all campsite fees. 
• Opportunity to take part in a yearly staff meeting and update training as needed.
