Bronze DofE Expedition

Bronze - 4 days

This is a simple approach to completing a Bronze Expedition over 4 days, and does away with the need for a separate practice expedition.  Training is included and there is no need to undertake this separately at school. It can be done in a variety of ways either over 2 weekends, mid week, or as part of your end year activity offer to students (usually in July).

Bronze short package:

  • 2 days of training including navigation practice and a day walk along with all the essential criteria to prepare candidates.
  • Fully supervised 2-day qualifying expedition.

This is our most popular approach for large numbers and can be delivered quickly and efficiently with East Coast Outdoors taking responsibility for the whole expedition under our risk assessments and safe operating procedures.

School staff are welcome to attend as pastoral support but are not part of our staff ratios.   Not sure what to expect? Read our School Staff Guide.
